Jim Lesogor  

Director of Talent Sourcing

 

Jim Lesogor is an experienced manager and leader of people.  He has spent the last 15 years in various management and leadership positions in the IT world in the Financial Services industry.  Jim brings a unique perspective to this position, not having risen through the ranks of Corporate Recruiting and Talent Management.  His recruiting and hiring philosophies have been molded by his experiences with Recruiters both as a Manager and as a Candidate.  This has allowed Jim to approach the Talent Sourcing process with a "Fresh Perspective".  

 

 

Prior to joining the Talerico Group, Jim spent 7 years at BNY Mellon where he managed groups of IT professionals ranging in size from 4 to 37 individuals.  It is during his time at BNY Mellon that Jim worked to continuously hone his management and leadership skills. While Jim's day to day responsibilities included the delivery of components of multi-million dollar project.  It was always the "People Management" side of his job that gave him the most satisfaction.  He always looked for the opportunity to align his employee’s goals / needs with the company's goals / needs and create that "Win / Win" situation. Jim sees his role at the Talerico Group as being able to that full time.

 

Prior to his time at BNY Mellon, Jim worked for Fidelity Investments for 9 years.  Fidelity Investments is where started his career in people, project, and systems management.

 

Jim holds his undergraduate degree in International Business & Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY, his MBA from Bentley University in Waltham, MA,. and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
